Asurion UX/UI Integration

Asurion has capabilities such as filing claims via chatbot, checking deductibles, looking up trade-in value, device health check, store locator, which do not follow the Asurion Friends style and is not an integrated product.

Show a MVP experience of their mobile app with the integrated style of Asurion Friends UX/UI and T-Mobile for the CEO of Asurion to pitch to T-Mobile.

THE Solution

Have the app show a single timeline that is an ongoing messaging session with a chatbot which can introduce you to TechMCs, and can send you rich media such as videos, content cards, livevideo sessions, etc.

Visual Design - Combine the look and feel of T-Mobile's brand with the app Asurion Friend's UI/UX .

UX Design - Made changes to the UX proposed by Asurion to add clarity to users.

Prototyping - Created with InVision.

Previous UX/UI

Asurion's proposed UX flows were a good start, but sometimes buttons and icons were not placed in the most optimal places. Language also sometimes seemed too forced, we wanted the chatbot to seem friendly, but still a function of the app and for it to not be confused with a Tech MC.

Proposed UX/UI

We proposed to aggregate all 9 scenarios in different buckets of the navigation to show 9 separate experience while maintaining the 'app' feel. We revised the flow for all 9 scenarios and changed the language of the chatbot to have an economy of words while remaining friendly and helpful.
